STRUCTURAL CONSULTANCY

We offer a broad range of structural engineering services. BIM CONSULTING

At SMB, we have a specialized team of BIM experts who understand the nitty-gritty of effective implementation of BIM. BIM IMPLEMENTATION

We follow a comprehensive implementation approach beginning with the development of an internal BIM deployment. This deployment focuses on the internal resources, practices and infrastructure needed to successfully manage BIM-based project delivery. This deployment plan is tightly coupled with best practice guidelines, project start up, management checklists and execution standards that describe specific internal processes that improve the consistent adoption of BIM methods.

VISUALIZATION & ANIMATION

BIM Architectural model will be rendered and visualized. Design alternatives and visually appealing alternatives will be prepared. Interiors and lighting will be incorporated to provide walkthrough’s and fly through’s. A realistic visual treat is the end result of meticulous Visualisation from the model.

WALKTHROUGH & FLY THROUGH

A demonstration of the Digital model is used to visit the site virtually for checking the interiors & equipments. With multiple modes you can walk or fly to view complex areas of the site. Flythrough gives you an aerial view of the model.

BIM MODELING (LOD-200 to 500)

SMB offers architecture modeling, structure modeling and MEP modeling services. We use patented software in order to carry out clash detection and coordination services. We use an extensive array of latest software like Revit, 3D Max, Navisworks, Tekla, Staadpro, MS Projects, Etabs, QE Pro, Sketchup, etc.

CAD/SKETCH/PDF TO BIM

We provide CAD design & CAD drafting services for Architectural, Electrical & mechanical design from pdf & sketch. Our CAD design services targeted to provide sophisticated CAD services across the globe. Our cutting edge industrial expertise can gather your necessities ranging from 3D modeling to 2D drafting to CAD design services. SCAN TO BIM

SCAN TO BIM

Using highly accurate 3D scan data generated with 3D Laser scanning accurate replica of the building and useful in the concept model on a virtual world. The point cloud data can also be surfaced to generate a CAD/BIM model which can be used for comparison or reconstruction. The size of the specimen being scanned is no longer limited to the directional travel of a machine, or the reach of an arm.Scans can be taken anywhere, at virtually anytime. These models can be further augumented with GIS data.

ARCHITECTURE MODEL

Architectural solid model will be generated from the available data. This architectural model is information-rich and can be used for construction documentation and quantity survey. RCC and steel structures can be modeled. All Architectural information will be captured in the model. from LOD 200 to LOD 500, Models will be developed as the project requirements.

STRUCTURE MODEL

Structural solid model will be prepared. This structure model can be RCC or steel structure depending on the project. This structural BIM model is information rich and can be used for construction documentation and quantity survey. All structural elements will be captured in the structural model including reinforcement details.

MEP F BIM MODEL

Solid MEP & F BIM models will be prepared from the 2D drawings / sketchesfrom the consultants. All the different services such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting and Fire protection, CCTV, Voice & DATA and other specialized service will be modelled separately by discipline experts. These models are an information rich model with heights, air flow details, materials etc. This can be used for the construction documentation.

CLASH DETECTION, ANALYSIS & RESOLUTION

The model will be used to conduct interference analysis. The output will be shared with the consultants. The clash areas will be analyzed with help of different discipline consultants. The solutions will be updated, and the model will be modified as per the consultants advice.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

Construction documentation with the detailing will be prepared from the model. Tender drawings GFC drawings will be prepared from the model. Relevant building codes will be followed. Depending on the level of details, the drawings will vary. These are 2D drawings generated from the model. It reflects the traditional construction documents, and are more accurate drawings. 4D BIM

4D BIM

Our team of Architects & Engineers will feed all the current site data including the materials, schedule for the construction etc which will create a blueprint for the progress to construction team to follow. SMB team can provide data in multiple datasets like graphs, real-time construction simulation, videos and walkthroughs to understand the progress at site. By creating 4D BIM model & services client can keeep track of the timeline of the construction.

5D BIM

At SMB we offer Quality output with attention to client’s needs with 99% accuracy. Our team will co-ordinate and get the information which will then be fed into the Native software to generate the cost analysis and report.

QUANTITY TAKEOFF

We can accurately measure concrete, steel & reinforcement details as per the client requirement. We can even extract structural quantities of retaining wall based on the input provided from the client. Our experience in extracting BOQ from Bridge decks to commercial buildings gives us an advantage over the competition.

6D BIM

SMB has been researching the effects of clean living by using energy analysis and the path of the sun to identify light source into your building without the corresponding heat penetration. A complete study of the project, location, dynamics is required to redesign your building into an Energy efficient one.

ANALYTICAL SERVICES & CALCULATIONS

Our BIM Engineers have provided millions of square feet of calculations for handling the heat out of the area using real world calculations to evaluate how much CO2 your building emits & how it can emit good green gas which in turn provides good & clean environment for everyone.

7D BIM

During this period a lot of information may be updated, serviced & alteration done for the entire project lifecycle.

Construction-Operations Building information exchange (COBie adaptation) is one way to view the open international format for the exchange of facility management handover information. Along with COBie adaptation, a precise specification of what COBie data is required at which phase of a project has been developed through the Life-Cycle information exchange (LCie) effort. COBie adaptation is actually a very user friendly & cost-effective solution for all projects engaging in BIM & allied services.

8D BIM

The construction industry’s incident rate for workplace injuries has consistently remained at about double that of all other industries. There has long been compelling evidence that many safety risks are created in the early design stage of projects. Hence, it can be argued that one of the most effective means of dealing with a hazard is to eliminate it at source, that is Prevention through Design (PtD).

AS BUILT MODELS

As built models will be developed to represent the actual building in the site. As built will be generated by updating existing model or converting existing drawings or from point cloud data. Laser Point cloud data can be used to generate the exiting building into a BIM model. These BIM models can be used to study and plan for any changes or modification to meet the present requirement.
